Bonds and contract guarantees
When guarantees hold back growth
Every bank guarantee uses part of your credit lines. When activity grows, when a large contract comes in or when a bank cuts its exposure, guarantee lines become the bottleneck: tenders declined, advances not collected, retentions tying up cash.
Surety providers and insurers issue the same guarantees, accepted by public and private principals, generally without using your bank lines.
The guarantees we arrange
Bid bond
Backs the seriousness of your offer in a public or private tender.
Performance bond
Assures your client that the contract will be properly performed.
Advance payment guarantee
Secures the advance paid by your client so you can collect it at order.
Retention bond
Replaces the retention withheld on your invoices and frees up cash.
Customs bond
Covers suspended duties and taxes under deferred payment or customs procedures.
Payment guarantee
Reassures your suppliers and secures your supply chain.

We approach the surety providers and insurers that fit your profile, without broad circulation.
Set-up and follow-up
Bond facility, terms, counter-guarantees: we follow the set-up and the renewals.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a bank guarantee and a bond issued by an insurer?
For the beneficiary, the commitment has the same effect. For you, the difference matters: a bond issued by a surety provider or an insurer generally does not use up your bank credit lines.
My banks will not increase my guarantee lines. What can I do?
This is common when activity grows faster than equity, or when banks reduce their exposure to a sector. Surety providers and insurers can step in, alongside your banks.
Do I have to pledge cash as counter-guarantee?
Not always. Depending on your profile, issuers may ask for a deposit, a shareholder guarantee or no security at all. How well the file is prepared weighs on these terms.
Which companies are concerned?
Companies with revenue above €8m whose clients require guarantees: construction, industry, equipment, energy, export, trading, services.
How long does it take to set up a facility?
Allow a few weeks in general between a complete file and a first issuance, depending on the issuer and the amounts.
